Description
The Leitz Eins-Zwei-Zero Riesling delivers a true Riesling experience - bright, crisp, and aromatic - just without the alcohol. Clean and fresh, it bursts with notes of lime, citrus, rhubarb, and red apple layered over a subtle mineral backbone. The finish is dry, balanced, and impressively long, capturing the distinctive character of Germany's world-class Riesling regions.

Winemaking at Weingut Leitz dates back to 1744 in Rudesheim, Germany. After being rebuilt post-WWII by Josef Leitz, the winery flourished under his grandson Johannes Leitz, who launched the celebrated Eins Zwei Zero alcohol-free line to bring exceptional, terroir-driven wines to everyone - with or without alcohol.

Tasting Notes

  • Colour: Pale straw yellow
  • Nose: Fresh lime, citrus zest, and delicate floral notes
  • Palate: Crisp green apple, rhubarb, and minerality with bright acidity
  • Finish: Dry, clean, and refreshing with lingering citrus

Winemaking

Produced from sustainably farmed Riesling grapes in Rudesheim, this wine is crafted using the same meticulous techniques as Leitz's acclaimed Rieslings. After full fermentation and stainless steel aging, the alcohol is gently removed using low-temperature vacuum distillation, a process that preserves the varietal aromas, flavours, and mineral essence of the terroir. The result is a refined, non-alcoholic Riesling with genuine depth and authenticity.
